Learning How to Dance is (mainly) an electronic dance record that feels all over the place on purpose. It imitates the human experience. The only thing that is constant is change. Trying to navigate emotions and feelings is trying to learn how to live.

You might feel anger, and then the sadness kicks in, and then you shed some tears and feel better and now you want to dance. The human experience is dynamic and messy and perfect. The only thing that is constant is change.

Learning How to Dance is about learning how to navigate emotions and feelings. I'm just now learning how to listen to my inner voice and less to external ones.

As much as I have a passion and desire to make music, I'm also aware I have so much to learn when it comes to translating these experiences into sounds and rhythm. I understand the power music has and how it can alter or better help give language to a feeling that one might have felt alone with.

Music can be that thing that makes life a little less hard when you know another human is going through similar struggles and situations.
